MP: 10 killed in factory explosion

Bhopal, Jul 6: At least 10 people killed and 40 others injured in a powerful blast that took place in explosive factory on Sunday, Jul 5 in Madhya Pradesh.

The factory was located in the district of Singrauli, more than 70 kilometres (465 miles) from the state capital Bhopal.

Singrauli police superintendent Anurag said, "Ten people are dead. Nine were recovered and one died in hospital."

He also said, "we are investigating on the cause for explosion and rescue operations were still under way but no other bodies had been recovered from the rubble."
