Parliament session begins today
New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): The next session of Parliament will begin from today.
The Economic Survey will be presented in the Lok Sabha today.
The Railway Budget will be presented on July 3 and the General Budget on July 6.
The Liberhan Commission report and Lalgarh violence are likely to dominate the proceedings.
The session will continue till August 7.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the government was looking forward to the Budget session of the Parliament with great expectation.
He also extended his fullest cooperation in the smooth functioning of Parliament. (ANI)
