Manmohan Singh looks forward to budget with great expectation
New Delhi, July 1 (ANI): Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Wednesday said that the government was looking forward to the Budget session of the Parliament with great expectation.
Talking to reporters here, Dr. Singh said, "We look forward to this session of Parliament with great expectation."
He also extended his fullest cooperation in the smooth functioning of Parliament.
"Parliament is the forum where debate can take place. It will be our sincere desire that it functions smoothly," he said.
The next session of Parliament will begin on Thursday till August 7.
The Economic Survey will be presented in the Lok Sabha on July 2. The Railway Budget will be presented on July 3 and the General Budget on July 6. (ANI)
