Debananda Konwar takes oath as Bihar Governor

Patna, June 29 (ANI): Debananda Konwar took oath as the Governor of Bihar at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan today.

Acting Chief Justice of Bihar High Court Shiva Kirti Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to Konwar. He replaces RL Bhatia whose term expired last week.

Konwar, a four-time MLA from Assam, was the Finance Minister in the Tarun Gogoi-led ministry. (ANI)
