New Delhi, Jun 23: Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) announced the launch of Photon+, mobile broadband internet device for its Delhi subscribers, on Monday, Jun 22.
Photon+ will offer mobile broadband services with speeds up to 3.1Mbps. With this kind of speed the users can not only recieve or check mails, but expect to download and upload large files.
The device is also compatible with laptops and desktop PCs. The company will also be providing plug-n-play device for individual and small office/home office users and, router for enterprise customers.
The service will be available for home users at a price of Rs 3,500 initially. The subscribers will be later paying for the services based on the tariff they choose. For the business segment, the router is available at a refundable security deposit of Rs 6,999 and a one-time activation fee of Rs 1,000 followed by monthly tariffs.
