New Delhi, Jun 19: Even as the security forces move forward cautiously towards Lalgarh facing resistance from the Maoist-led tribals and landmines; the CPI-M's Politburo meet began on Friday, Jun 19.

The meet is aimed at reviewing the Maoist siege of Lalgarh, post-poll violence in parts of West Bengal, organisational problems in Kerala and its debacle in the recent polls.

The central topic of the meet will the come up with ways to deal with the Maoist violence. The CPI-M leaders seem to believe that the violence is back by Trinamool Congress in an attempt to 'destabilise' the Left Front in the state.

However contradicting this Politburo member MK Pandhe said, "It's an election review meeting." He added that the topic of Maoist violence will be touched upon.
