15 injured in Bandra slum fire

Mumbai June 18(ANI): At least fifteen people were injured and 200 shanties were devastated in a fire near the suburban Bandra railway station on Thursday.

According to sources, the fire broke out at 4 a.m. in Garib Nagar.Operations are under way to contain the damage to life and property.

Twenty-five fire fighters, 16 water tanks and four ambulances have been deployed in the operation.

The injured have been admitted to the Baba Hospital in Bandra.(ANI)
