Jackie O's half-brother was obsessed with John Junior

Washington, June 16 (ANI): Jackie Kennedy's half-brother was banished by the family decades ago because he became fixated on young John Kennedy Jr., The New York Post has learned.

James "Jamie" Auchincloss showed an unusual obsession for his half-nephew John-John when the Camelot prince was just 7, sources said.

He repeatedly asked the boy to pose for pictures, said one source, who added that Jackie didn't want him anywhere near John-John.

By the 1980s, the Kennedy clan was so concerned by Jackie's half-sibling's proclivities that they warned Auchincloss, now 62, to stay away from the family, sources said.

When Caroline Kennedy dropped her bid for a New York Senate seat in January, Auchincloss' neighbors immediately thought it was related to an October 14 search of his Ashland, Oregon, house, which turned up the child pornography.

Auchincloss has acknowledged publicly that he likes to look at sexually provocative photos of young boys.

Auchincloss would not take repeated calls from The Post. But earlier this month, when asked by his local paper if he thought he had done anything wrong, Auchincloss said: "I don't think I've done something that harmed anybody and that would harm anyone. I don't think I'm that type of person."

According to the Ashland Daily Tidings, he did not refute the allegation that child porn was found in his home.

Auchincloss and Jackie Kennedy Onassis have the same mother, Janet Lee Bouvier. Bouvier's second husband, Standard Oil heir Hugh Auchincloss Jr., is Jamie's father.

Auchincloss lives off 12,000 dollars a month from a trust fund in the leafy Oregon neighborhood just up the street from a popular park and playground teeming with kids. (ANI)
