Brit Muslim bargirl gets 3K pound compensation for 'tarty' dress

London, June 16 (ANI): A waitress won 3,000-pounds in damages yesterday after being told to wear an "indecent" dress - despite posing in a plunging top on her Facebook page.

Muslim Fata Lemes, 33, walked out of her pub job after just eight days as the figure-hugging red gown made her "feel like a prostitute".

According to The Sun, bosses of the swanky Rocket bar in Mayfair are considering an appeal after her website snaps came to light.

The Bosnian was given a loose-fitting, black uniform when she started work last May.

But she was told she would be expected to wear the red dress in the summer.

Lemes never wore the outfit for a shift, but got a colleague to snap her in it after customers had gone home.

She said: "I was brought up a Muslim and am not used to wearing sexually attractive clothes. I might as well be naked in that dress."

The tribunal awarded her compensation on sex discrimination grounds, as men did not have to wear a different uniform in the summer.(ANI)
