Arun Jaitely quit as BJP general secretary
New Delhi, June 16 (ANI): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley on Tuesday resigned from the post of General Secretary.
Party President Rajnath Singh confirmed the news.
BJP sources said Jaitley resigned from the party position in view of a rule of one man one post. Jaitely had been elected by the BJP as the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha. (ANI)
