Blast in Dera Ismail Khan kills 8
Dera Ismail Khan, Jun 14: A bomb blast ripped the north-western city of Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday, Jun 14 killing at least eight people and injuring over 25.
Reports suggest that the blast occurred in the Peer Bazaar area, which is close to the headquarters of the local trade union and is major trading centre of the city. Police officials said that the bomb was planted on a vehicle in the market. A suspect has reportedly been arrested.
Rescue operations are on. Injured people have been shifted to the district hospital and the number of causalities are set to rise.
