Paris, Jun 11: French police on Wednesday, Jun 7 apparently downplayed the alleged terror link to Air France A447 crash by a leading TV channel, which reported that the two of the passengers had shared names with some terror suspects.

Sky News said that the two names on the crashed AF 447's passenger manifest also appear on a list of radical Muslims considered a threat to France. Meanwhile, a leading British tabloid 'The Sun' reported that Air France also received a bomb threat in Brazil four days before the crash of the flight with 228 persons on board.

The channel added that the French servicemen established the connection while working through the list of those who boarded the Airbus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 31. The servicemen are now trying to establish dates of birth for the two dead passengers and family connection, said the channel.

The website of L'Express, Paris based magazine, reported that French agents were making inquiries after finding the names of two suspected Islamist militants on the manifest.
