Hillary says Obama 'absolutely' up to 3 a.m. call
Washington, June 8 (ANI): Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that it is an honour to serve with President Barack Obama, especially when it comes to handling a crisis.
Referring to her famous campaign ad questioning Obama's ability to handle foreign challenges during the run up to the presidential campaign, George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," asked Clinton about the scenario: "It's 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone? Has the president answered it for you?" he asked.
"Absolutely. And, you know, the president in his public actions and demeanor, and certainly in private with me and with the national security team, has been strong, thoughtful, decisive, I think he is doing a terrific job," Clinton said.
"And it's an honor to serve with him," the Secretary of State added.
Clinton's first appearance on the Sunday shows as Secretary of State came exactly one year after she conceded the Democratic presidential primary to Obama, Politico.com reported. (ANI)
