Shopian case: Forensic reports confirm rape

Srinagar, Jun 7: A forensic report suggest that the two women, whose bodies were found in Shopian were raped before being killed by the army. The report also confirmed that they were kin.

Jammu continue to remain tense after the bodies were found dumped in a shallow stream. Relatives of Nilofer and Aasia who were found murdered alleged that the security personnel raped and murdered them.

JK chief minister Omar Abdullah have ordered a probe in the Shopian double murder case. Life remained paralysed in the region due to the separatist-sponsored bandh, which continued to disrupt normal life for the seventh consecutive day.
