Malay Indian widows told to be brave in facing challenges
Kuala Lumpur, June 6 (ANI): Malaysia's Women Development Bureau chief, Vimala Nair, has urged widowed Malay-Indian women to be bold and brave in facing challenges that lie ahead.
Vimala called upon the Malay-Indian women to be more vigilant and aware of their environment and activities, the Star Online reports.
Citing examples from the past, Vimla said there have been many women, who despite losing their husbands, managed to raise their children and send them to good universities.
Vimala advised widowed women to forget about the past, and be more positive to be successful in life.
She suggested they try their hands at small businesses to generate better income. (ANI)
