Chinese man burns home after wife says no to money for mahjong

New Delhi, June 5 (ANI): A Chinese man was arrested for trying to burn down his own house, only because his wife refused to give him money to play mahjong.

His wife noticed the fire in their home in Meihekou, Jilin province, when she was returning to the home.

She then called the authorities, reports the China Daily.

Her husband confessed that it was he who had set the fire in a rage.

"I asked my wife to give me money to play mahjong with friends that day but she refused," he said. (ANI)
