UP govt transfers 5 IAS, 9 IPS officers

Lucknow, Jun 3: The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday, Jun 2 reshuffling the administration, has also transferred 5 IAS and 9 IPS officers.

Dinesh Kumar Shukla, Etwah district magistrate has been appointed as special secretary for medical education department. He will be succeeded by Manish Chauhan, special secretary in the social welfare department.

The official sources said that Ambedkar Nagar district magistrate Ravi Kumar will be the new Firozabad DM and special secretary, medical education department and Rama Kant to be the new Mirzapur DM. While Madhukar Dwiwedi, revenue department will take over as DM of Ambedkar Nagar.

The government transferred 9 IPS officers, including Inspector Generals and SSP's on Tuesday, Jun 2.
