After nuke test N Korea fires short-range missile

Seoul, May 27: After the nuclear test and the defence missiles, North Korea now test fired another short-range missile. The South Korean Yonhap News Agency reported that the missile had been fired into the Sea of Japan.

North Korea's nuclear test and missile firing have heightened tensions in the international community. US Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, said "If they want to continue to test and provoke the international community, they're going to find that they will pay a price, because the international community is very clear -- this is not acceptable, it won't be tolerated, and they won't be intimidated."

The UN Security Council is now working on a more 'strong resolution with teeth'. Meanwhile, Deputy Ambassador of North Korea to the United Nations, Pak Tok Hun said: "What is important is to put an end to hostile policy. Hostile policy in particular of the United States and Japan. We have no any other intention than to defend ourselves."
