Racial Attack on Indian students in Australia

Melbourne, May 26: Four Indian students were allegedly assaulted in their homes by a couple of teenagers in Melbourne. The Indian students who hail from Andhra Pradesh were reportedly injured and one is in serious condition. The name of the victims were not revealed

Gautum Guptam, the founder of the Federation of Indian Students Association (FISA) said that the culprits were arrested. One of the attacker has been charged with attempt to murder.

The offenders gatecrashed a party and attacked the Indian students. This is the second major racial attack on Indian students reported from Australia. This could have serious repercussions on the $3.5 million Australian education industry.
