Jet Airways Q4 net profit at Rs 53 cr

Mumbai, May 25: One of India's leading private carrier Jet Airways, clocked a net profit of Rs 53 crore in the fourth quarter of 2008-09.

It had posted a loss of Rs 221 crore in the year-ago period. For the financial year 09, Jet closed a loss of Rs 402 crore said the airlines in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, May 25. Jet had recorded a loss of Rs 253 crore in the year-ago period.

Further the company said that the board of directors of the company has not recommended any dividend for the year ended March 2009.
