New Delhi, May 23: After swearing-in as a Union cabinet minister in the Manmohan Singh government, Trinamool Congress (TC) chief Mamata Banerjee on Friday, May 22 said that there could be at least six more ministerial berths for her party in the first expansion of the Manmohan Singh ministry.

"There may be six more representations from my party in the union government," she said.

As TC as the largest party after the Congress in the UPA, Mamata Banerjee said, "As per ratio of MPs, we could have got more ministerial berths compared to other partners in the UPA."

"We did not bargain over ministerial berths. We are taking ministerial responsibilities to serve the people. Ministry is not a matter to us. We have no intention to go to the government to make money," she added.

Getting six more representations from the party will make it the largest representation from West Bengal.
