PM bounces back to work, calls for Cabinet meeting
New Delhi, Mat 23: Taking no time for a breather after being sworn-in as the Prime Minister for the second term, Manmohan Singh has on Saturday, May 23 called for Union Cabinet meeting.
The meeting may not just be limited to a customary one, as sources say that Cabinet is likely to take a decision on convening a Parliament session to enable new members to take oath. President, Pratibha Patil will be addressing a joint sitting of both the houses during the session.
Before the meeting, manmohan Singh reportedly paid a visit to all the departed leaders' memorials including that of Mahatma Gandhi to pay his respect.
Manmohan Singh along with 19 of other Cabinet ministers were sworn-in on Friday, May 22.
