Freed from Iran, Journo arrives back in US

Washington, May 23: The Iranian-American journalist, Roxana Saberi, who was released from an Iranian jail after four months has reportedly reached home country, United States on Saturday, May 23.

The journo got into trouble with the Iranian authorities for alleged spying and was sentenced to 8 years imprisonment. The 32 year old journalist was freed from Evin prison in Tehran on May 11 after a court reduced her prison term.

Thanking US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by name, Saberi said, "I wish I could personally thank all the people who supported me in my 100 days in prison."

Saberi left Iran a week ago and traveled with her mother, father, brother and a family friend to Vienna, Austria, before returning home.
