Queen's ex guardsman arrested for child porn possession

London, May 22 (ANI): A former guardsman of Queen Elizabeth has been taken into custody after being caught having more than thousand child sex photos.

Andre Dunn, who used to serve as a soldier with the elite Scots Guards regiment, was turned in by his own fiancie, who had seen him trying to tuck away computer equipment in a wardrobe at their house.

Detectives found 1,109 indecent images of children along with 32 movies showing kids being sexually abused from the 27-year-old's stash.

Dunn, who held an SA-80 semi-automatic rifle and used to protect the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace, confessed to possessing the lewd images at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

"It's disgusting that someone like him could have such a prestigious role," the Sun quoted his ex-colleague as saying.

A former Scots Guard who served with Dunn added: "I always thought there was something not quite right about him. I was in barracks with him for a couple of years and he seemed to be on edge a lot of the time.

"He was also a sneaky guy, so you always had to watch your back. He performed all the guardsman duties at the Royal residences and he regularly had his picture taken with tourists, including schoolkids.

"I was gobsmacked when I heard what he'd been up to. It's disgusting."

Dunn is due to be sentenced in June and has already been listed on the sex offenders register. (ANI)
