Prabhakaran's body found near Nandikadal lagoon

Colombo: LTTE supremo Prabhakaran's body was discovered by the Sri Lankan army near the Nandikadal lagoon. His body was found in uniform with bullet wounds.

Sri Lankan military spokesperson Udaya Nanyakkara confirmed to CNN-IBN news channel. His body was found by the 53 Division troops led by Major General Kamal Goonarathne, the Lankan military sources said.

Earlier the day, a pro-LTTE site Tamilnet.com posted a message from claiming that LTTE supremo is alive and safe. But it did not divulge any details.
