Lalu says will offer unconditional support to UPA government
New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad today said he would lend unconditional support to the UPA Government.
After attending a meeting of the Union Cabinet, Lalu said he is ready to offer unconditional support to the government.
"And, we said this in the meeting as well," he added.
When asked about his role in the Cabinet, Lalu said: "Nothing of this sort has been decided yet."
Lalu has not been attending cabinet meetings ever since he forged an alliance with the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP).
Lalu had earlier admitted that not contesting the elections in alliance with the Congress was a big mistake.
The RJD won just four seats this time compared to 22 in 2004. (ANI)
