Blood donation camp to support Chiranjeevi

Hyderabad, May 14 (ANI): In a bid to register their support for superstar-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, youth in Hyderabad donated blood at Chiranjeevi Eye and Blood Bank on Thursday.

Enthusiastic for the success of Chiranjeevi's Party, 148 youngsters came forward at a special camp organized by the blood bank.

"We want to become independent. We want to establish his Praja Rajyam Party (PRP). Once we win 148 seats, it would be easy to do so. That's why 148 members came here to give blood and pray to the esteemed god-'Please give him power'," said Rayudu, a blood donor.

Elated with the success of the blood donation camp, Praja Rajyam party leaders expressed confidence to do well in the assembly elections as well.

"This (blood donation camp) is for the success of the PRP in elections. We have had a great election and we are very much confident that we are going to get success but before getting success we have to show our dedication for the party and commitment for the party," said Shobharani, Praja Rajyam leader.

Chiranjeevi has contested Lok Sabha Elections from Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati assembly seat.

The vote-count for the 543 Lok Sabha seats is scheduled on May 16. (ANI)
