TCS bags 5-yr IT deal with Volkswagen, UK

Bangalore, May 13: Tata Consultancy Services, one of India's leading software exporter said that it has bagged a five-year contract from Volkswagen Group in Britain to deliver IT transformation and support services to the vehicle manufacturer.

TCS said that as per the deal it will leverage its Global Delivery Network to provide onshore and offshore IT support and transformation services for the Volkswagen Group's operations throughout the UK and the brands like Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen passenger cars and Volkswagen Commercial vehicles. However the company refused to reveal the financial details of the deal.

TCS would also support the Volkswagen Group in its business transformation support programme.
