Pakistan expanding Khushab nuke facility: Report

Islamabad, May 13: Media reports suggest that Pakistan is expanding its nuclear facilities. India's neighbouring nation is reportedly expanding its plutonium facilities at Khushab plant near capital city of Islamabad.

The reactors which are under construction is one of the largest reactors to be built in the world. The reactor will lead to the improvement in quality and quantity of nuclear weapons produced by Pakistan. What makes the project even more scary is that it is unique.

United States officials said that Pakistan is really the only country rapidly building up its nuclear forces. There are even reports that before the 9/11 attacks in US the former Khushab plant's former director met Osama bin Laden and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri and offered them a nuclear weapons tutorial.
