UP Advisory board revokes NSA on Varun Gandhi
Pilibit, May 8: Uttar Pradesh Advisory Board on Friday, May 8 revoked the National Security Act slapped on Varun Gandhi. The young Gandhi who is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Pilibhit for the Lok Sabha polls.
Advisory Board said that use of NSA on Varun is invalid.
The
decision
to
book
Gandhi
under
NSA
was
taken
for
the
alleged
rioting
his
supporters
on
Mar
28
when
he
went
to
surrender
before
the
Pilibhit
court.
Varun
has
been
charged
with
giving
communal
speeches
in
Pilibhit
and
he
is
out
on
parole
on
the
Supreme
court
of
India"s
order.
