First Swine flu death reported in Canada
Ottawa, May 8: First Swine flu death case was reported from Canada, after an elderly woman who was undergoing treatment for H1N1 influenza died on Thursday, May 7 in Alberta province.
The CBC TV reports that though it was unclear whether the woman had other underlying conditions, but she did have the virus at the time she passed away. However the new has not been confirmed by the health officials. Public Health Agency of Canada has confirmed 214 cases of Swine flu in the state. Nearly all cases have been mild.
