Samajwadi Party speaks in support of dismissal of Mayawati Govt.
Mainpuri, May 7 (ANI): Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday said his party would extend support whoever dismisses the Mayawati Government in Uttar Pradesh.
After casting his vote, Mulayam said, "The youth, farmers and traders, all are disheartened with the Uttar Pradesh Government. We will support whoever dismisses the Mayawati Government."
He further said, "The trend after three phases of polling shows that no government at the Centre would be possible without Samajwadi Party's support".
On the issue of extending support, he said the meeting of the party's parliamentary board and MPs will take place after the elections.
"Everything would depend on the post-poll equations and the numbers, and taking all these things into account, we will decide," Yadav said. (ANI)
