Unwed mum Bristol Palin joins teen pregnancy prevention campaign

Washington, May 6 (ANI): Unwed teen mother Bristol Palin has become the new face of The Candie's Foundation to help raise awareness for teen pregnancy prevention.

The 18-year-old daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been named as a Teen Ambassador for the foundation, reports the Politco.

The Candie's explained itself as running "a celebrity-driven public service announcement campaign that dramatically exposes the devastating consequences of teenage pregnancy, while educating and challenging America's youth to make healthy decisions about sex."

Bristol became mum to baby Tripp last December, and later broke her engagement with boyfriend Levi Johnston, the teenage father of the child. (ANI)
