Mumbai, May 6: The standoff between the Bollywood Producers and Multiplex Owners seems to find no end. The producers refused to listen to the presentation multiplex owners had prepared as they did not meet the flat 50-50 revenue share demand following which the multiplex owners left the meeting.

The meeting took place in Yashraj Studios on Tuesday, May 5 reached a dead end as neither of the parties were ready to budge on the revenue sharing. While the producers expect a flat 50 per cent of the revenue, the multiplex owner propose 50 per cent ,40 per cent , 30 per cent profit share in the first, second and third weeks respectively.

The Bollywood producers have now resolved to screen their movies in the single screen theatres.

"We have to get back to old school to release films in single screen theatres," said producer Mukesh Bhatt.

The multiplex owners continue to have refused to say anything as of now.
