Jaya receives anon letter threatening to bomb her

Chennai, May 5: AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa allegedly received an anonymous letter that threatened to blow her up in a suicide attack on Monday, May 5 citing the reason to be ' for instigating rowdy advocates' against police during the clash between lawyers and police in the Madras High Court premises on Feb 19.

The letter warned Jaya that she will meet the same fate as of Rajiv Gandhi who was assassinated by an LTTE suicide bomber at Sriperumbudur, police said.

The letter that was sent to her residence also revealed that she will be targetted outside her house and in her convoy.

The AIADMK has lodged a police complaint.
