Repolling underway in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, May 2 (ANI): Repolling is underway in seven booths spread across three Lok Sabha constituencies-Rajgarh, Sagar and Morena in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday.

The three seats had gone to the polls on April 30 in the second and last parliamentary elections in the state.

The Election Commission on Friday had ordered repolling in four polling stations in Morena constituency, two in Sagar and one in Rajgarh following complaints of violence and damage to electronic voting machines (EVMs).

The state government has declared a local holiday at these places tomorrow to enable the people to exercise their franchise. (ANI)
