Now, a next-gen car that keeps an eye on you!
Sydney, May 2 (ANI): Cars that tell tales about their owners, potentially costing them money, their jobs and in extreme cases, their freedom, are coming your way.
A new generation of intelligent vehicles is being fitted with event recorders similar to aircraft black boxes.
This will enable collection of data, which could be used to assess how well a car has been driven, how far and, in the event of a crash, what factors contributed to the accident, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
However, the development is not being received by motor companies.
A senior industry executive who declined to be named said: "I wouldn't be comfortable sending someone to jail based on the data because it is too unreliable from a recovery point of view." (ANI)
