Obama's plane flies low over NYC, WH apologises

Washington, Apr 28: The White House apologised for Obama's plane flying low over New York, causing a fright among the New Yorkers reminding the people of the 9/11 attack.

"I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused," said Louis Caldera, Director White House Military Office on Tuesday, Apr 28.

The White House also informed that Obama was not in the plane.

The Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg was furious at the scary exercise that was carried out without any prior information and told the people of his city that if he had known, he would never let this happen.

With the terror threat perception running high, Obama's supersonic fighter jet that flew low over the city of New York on Monday, Apr 27 left the people startled after triggering a scare leading to an emergency evacuation of several office buildings.
