Pak nukes in Taliban's hands worries US: Clinton

Washington, Apr 27: Expressing worry over the 'unthinkable' possibility of the nuclear arms falling into the hands of Taliban, the United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has pushed Pakistan to devise a plan to regain control over the country.

"One of our concerns, which we've raised with the Pakistani government and military is that if the worst, the unthinkable were to happen, and this advancing Taliban encouraged and supported by al-Qaeda and other extremists were to essentially topple the government for failure to beat them back - then they would have the keys to the nuclear arsenal of Pakistan," Clinton told Fox News.

The Taliban is making its way towards Islamabad and is left unchecked, over which Clinton has said that US cannot think of the kind of control they are gaining over the nuclear powered nation, and that it can not go on any further.
