Homemade 'toy bomb' kills 11 children in Pak

Islamabad, Apr 26: A homemade bomb exploded inside a house in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP) on Saturday, Apr 25 killing 11 children of the same family.

The children who were playing with the explosive device failed to realise that it was a toy. The Dawn newspaper said that students of the government girls' primary school Luqman Banda picked the device lying near a wall of the school and carried it to their home.

The device exploded, killing ten children on the spot and injuring four when they gathered around the device. Six boys and five girls died in the incident. Its not clear whether the bomb was planted near girls' school purposefully.
