I back Pawar for PM's post: Jayalalithaa

Chennai, Apr 22: AIADMk supremo and former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa said she is willing ready to back National Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar as the Indian Prime Minister.

In an interview to a TV channel Jaya endorsed Pawar saying that he is mature and sincere. However AIADMK chief was cautious about giving similar nod to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati. Earlier Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader and Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik had expressed his support for Pawar to the top post.

However Jayalalithaa also mentioned Pawar should not take her support for granted and she was keeping her post-poll options open.
