Sonia's cancels Bihar election rallies at last moment
Patna, Apr. 21 (ANI): UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi's rallies in Bihar were cancelled at the eleventh hour on Tuesday, without citing any reason for the same.
"The information we have received from the AICC headquarters is that Soniaji's rallies stand cancelled. No reason has been assigned," said Samir Kumar Singh, Bihar Congress Working President.
The Congress President was scheduled to address rallies at Supaul and Samastipur to gather support for controversial MP Pappu Yadav's wife Ranjeet Ranjan and state Congress Legislature Party leader Ashok Kumar respectively.
On Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit addressed an election rally at Supaul and in Samastipur along with Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee. (ANI)
