No personal hatred towards Prabhakaran: Priyanka

Amethi, Apr 21: Priyanka Gandhi said that the Gandhi family has no 'personal hatred' towards the killers of her father and former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. She added that India will never forgive Prabhakaran for killing her father in 1991.

"I think... speaking for all my family.., politics is quite separate for us from personal grief. None of us have personal hatred towards those who killed my father," she told a news channel.

When asked about her meeting with Nalini, (who is serving life term for her involvement in the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi) Priyanka said, "It is a personal issue. I don't understand this word 'closure'. When you lose somebody you love a lot, there is never a closure."

"I learnt a lot from my meeting with her (Nalini)," she added. Priyanka once again refused to comment on when she would enter politics. "I will only work to strengthen the party (Congress). As of now, I do not wish to enter the political arena," she said.
