Priya Dutt on MySpace, will urge youth to vote

Bangalore, Apr 21: The MySpace 'India Fights Back' campaign will now feature the tech-savvy youth icon Priya Dutt to help create awareness in the Indian Youth about the importance of Voting.

Ms. Dutt who will be helping the young users realise the importance of voting, will interact with the country's youth using photos, audio, text & even video blogs on http://www.myspace.com/indiafightsback.

The campaign aims at providing a space of the youth to discuss various socially significant issues and topics.

To help stimulate their potential, we are thrilled to have on board Priya Dutt. She represents the present and future of Indian politics and is a youth icon willing to engage in the democratic debate encouraged on MySpace."

MySpace's 'India Fights Back' was a campaign that was created in Nov 2008 in the wake of the 26/11 terror attacks, to help users express themselves against the attacks. The campaign saw involvement of celebrities like Vishal Dadlani and Farah Khan, who also actively condemned the attacks on MySpace.

Now, the campaign goes one step ahead with the involvement of Gen Y icons like Priya Dutt, Raghu Ram, Rajiv Lakshman, Junaid Memon and Ameet Satam.
