Lightning sends Peeping Tom neighbour to the slammer!

New Delhi, April 21 (ANI): A Chinese man was taken into custody after his female neighbour caught him spying, thanks to lightning.

The man surnamed Li, from Chengdu, reportedly had had a secret crush on the woman next door for years and often spied on her.The 43-year-old man tiptoed into her backyard one night after drinking, and stood gazing at her from behind a tree, reports the China Daily.

The woman, who had been watching TV, caught site of Li after lightning struck and subsequently alerted the police.

Li was later sentenced to one year in prison after confessing he had plans of sexually attacking the woman. (ANI)
