Jessica Simpson denies 'show with Britney Spears' claims

Washington, Apr 21 (ANI): Popstar Jessica Simpson has rebuffed reports claiming that she is keen to team up with Britney Spears for a TV show.

It had been claimed earlier that Jessica wants to collaborate with the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker for comedy show based on the lines of much-loved series Laverne and Shirley, according to U.S. tabloid the Globe.

It was also claimed that Britney loved the idea and would join Jessica once she is through with her ongoing Circus tour.

However Jessica's father Joe Simpson has refuted the claims through his Twitter page.

"Rumour incorrect... no jess-brit show.. luv (sic) brit.. just no show," Contactmusic quoted Joe, as stating on his Twitter page. (ANI)
