Bernie Madoff's life to be turned into film

New York, April 21 (ANI): Ponzi king Bernie Madoff's life is set to become the subject of a docudrama.

Filmmaker Edmund Druilhet revealed he had begun work on Madoff: Made Off With America.

The movie would "span from Madoff's childhood to his transformation into a current-day Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", reports the New York Post.

And like Edmund's last film, re-enactments with a cast of look-alikes are expected to feature in the project.

Madoff was convicted of operating a Ponzi scheme that has been called the largest investor fraud ever committed by a single person.

The 70-year-old last month pleaded guilty to an 11-count criminal complaint, admitting to defrauding thousands of investors and now faces spending the rest of his life in prison. (ANI)
