Jessica Simpson keen to team up with Britney for a comedy sitcom

Washington, Apr 17 (ANI): Pop star Jessica Simpson is keen to team up with fellow pop star Britney Spears for a comedy sitcom, and has even approached her with the idea.

The grapevine has it that Jessica wants to act in buddy comedy with 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker, based on the lines of much-loved series Laverne and Shirley.

Britney too seems interested, and will indulge in talks with Jessica once her Circus tour is over.

"Britney seems genuinely interested in working with her. She's said they'll talk further when she finishes her Circus tour," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling The Globe.

"And Jessica wants to prove to the world that she's a talented, funny actress, not just some silly airhead," the source added. (ANI)
