Qureshi to review Gujarat poll preparedness today

Ahmedabad, Apr 15 (ANI): Election Commissioner Dr. S.Y. Qureshi will arrive here today to review poll preparedness in Gujarat for the coming Lok Sabha polls.

During his visit, Qureshi will hold meeting with Chief Electoral Officer Anita Karwal, Director General of Police S.S. Khandwawala, the Chief Secretary and the Home Secretary.

Qureshi along with Deputy Election Commissioner J.P. Prakash is also scheduled to meet the representatives of several political parties.

The District Electoral Officers and the District Superintendent of Police also called for meeting by the Election Commissioner.

The polling for 26 Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on April 30 in the third phase of elections. (ANI)
