How John Mayer used to keep Jessica Simpson 'quiet'

New York, April 15 (ANI): John Mayer had a trick up his sleeve to keep Jessica Simpson quiet and that was to tell her he was more attracted to the way she looked than how she talked, reveals a friend.

The 31-year-old used to allegedly tell the stunning blonde that he was drawn towards her spiritual side.

"John used to tell Jess all the time, 'I'm really attracted to your spiritual side,'" the New York Post quoted a friend as saying.

"He'd tell her that every time she opened her mouth to speak. It was a nice way of basically saying, 'Just sit there and be pretty, and don't ruin it with talk.'

"The sad thing is she started to tell people, 'I'm working on being more spiritual,' and then just sit there quietly," the friend added. (ANI)
